May’s Art Exhibit Opening Reception is Friday, May 6, 6-8 pm as part of Swarthmore’s First Friday Art Events. This is the annual group art exhibition featuring several local artists with a variety of artwork styles and mediums. So on your stroll through town, stop by Borough Hall and meet the artists and enjoy complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres. 

The opening reception is free and open to the public.

There is still time to participate:  Artists 18 years of age or older, who reside in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District (including Swarthmore College students), are invited to participate in the Annual Swarthmore Artists Group Exhibition. The show will be on display from May 5 through the end of May at Swarthmore Borough Hall, 121 Park Avenue, Swarthmore. Entry forms are due by Friday, April 29, click here for details:  https://swarthmorearts.org/entry-form-2022-group-artist-exhibition/  

Swarthmore Friends of the Arts is the volunteer organization responsible for the rotating art exhibits at the Borough Hall in Swarthmore. Their mission is to encourage the free expression of all forms of art by local artists and to arrange for the exhibition of the work of artists for the enrichment and enlightenment of the community.
