December’s Art Exhibit will feature Paintings of Little Crum Creek Park by Local Plein Air Landscape Artists

The Board of Friends of Little Crum Creek Park is hosting the second annual Plein Air Artists Painting fundraiser exhibit, “Four Seasons in the Park”, this December at Swarthmore Borough Hall. A great opportunity for local plein air artists to have their artwork of Little Crum Creek Park on display through December. The theme is simply paintings focused on LCC Park from any of the 4 seasons. This event is in partnership with Swarthmore Friends of the Arts.

For participating artists, finished paintings should be dropped off at Borough Hall on Thursday November 30, between 5 and 7pm. Each piece must be wired for hanging. The Swarthmore Friends of the Arts entry fee will be paid by Friends of Little Crum Creek Park. Artists receive 50% of each piece sold and Friends of Little Crum Creek Park receives 40%.

The exhibit reception is Friday, December 1st, from 6 to 8 pm at Swarthmore Borough Hall. This event is sponsored by Swarthmore Friends of the Arts and is free and open to the public so invite your friends and family. It is a fantastic opportunity to show your landscape paintings from Little Crum Creek Park, meet other artists, and make new friends and patrons.
