The October 2018 Celebrate Swarthmore Photographers Exhibit is fast approaching.  All photographers – age 18 or over and reside in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District – are invited to participate. The show will be held at Swarthmore Borough Hall for the month of October.

Please fill out the form located https://swarthmorearts.org/exhibition-confirmation-form/entry-form-2018-group-photography-show/ to enter your work and be sure to click the “submit” button when finished. Payment can be received at the time you drop off your work (please bring the printed form with you).

Delivery of artwork: Monday October 1st, from 6-7pm, Swarthmore Borough Hall or by arrangement by contacting the Exhibition Committee Chair: Martha Perkins: martha.perkins@gmail.com or 484-574-3158

One or two pieces of original photography, which have not previously been exhibited at Borough Hall, may be submitted. Reproductions of originals will not be accepted. Work intended for hanging must be framed or matted and wired for hanging.  Work that is not designed to hang on a wall will be included in the exhibit only if it can be safely displayed within the available exhibit space. Questions about the suitability of a particular work for the exhibit, or to arrange for delivery of artwork at a time other than specified above, should be directed to Martha Perkins at 484-574-3158, martha.perkins@gmail.com.

A contribution of $5 per piece is requested toward exhibition costs including the artists’ reception and should be sent in with the entry form.

Swarthmore Friends of the Arts is the volunteer organization responsible for the rotatingart exhibits at the Borough Hall in Swarthmore. Their mission is to encourage the free expression of all forms of art by local artists and to arrange for the exhibition of the workof artists for the enrichment and enlightenment of the community.
