April’s art exhibit, “The Friday Group”, presents the artwork of Gail Herring, Lisarose Ferri, Janet Moyer, Margaret Ewing, and Pete Prown. The exhibition will be displayed from January 3rd through the 28th at Swarthmore Borough Hall, 121 Park Avenue.
The public is invited to the artists’ reception Friday, April 4th, 6-8 pm. Both the exhibit and the reception are free and open to the public.
The Friday Group includes artists from the Wallingford Community Arts Center (CAC) and its Friday “open studio.” These 2D artists have met for several years, working on their pieces and also discussing each other’s work constructively. In the process, they’ve created a community of people who paint, draw, create mixed-media works, and more. It’s a vibrant (and ever-growing) group who are now friends and strive to support each other’s work at CAC and beyond.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. Exhibit hours are M-Th 9am – 8pm, Fri 10am – 7pm, Sat 10am – 3pm, Sun 1 – 5pm.
